Ron Friedmann, the founder of Prism (www.prismlegal.com), is a lawyer by training and has extensive legal technology experience. He has managed technology infrastructure and worked on many systems including interactive expert advisors, litigation support, document management, intranets, extranets, public Web sites, and knowledge management.
Ron worked in large law firms for a decade as the CIO of Mintz Levin and the Director of Computer Applications at Wilmer Cutler. He also spent over two years at Jnana Technologies developing the market for interactive legal systems and time at iLumin working on online enforceable contracts using digital signatures.
In addition, Ron brings a strong business perspective to his work. He was a strategy consultant at Bain & Company and an economic analyst for Data Resources, Inc. Ron is a 1986 graduate of New York University School of Law and 1979 graduate of Oberlin College.
Ron is a co-founder and organizer of the Law Practice Technology Roundtable, a Trustee of the College of Law Practice Management, a member of the NYC Large Law Firm KM Group, and the founder/organizer of the DC Large Law Firm KM Group. He publishes and presents regularly.
